Rare 1945/46 velvet and tulle dress

Description

A true original 1945/6 tulle lace and velvet dress, possibly a wedding dress in a previous lige. Comes with an integrated slip. There are three layers to this dress – a layer of lace, tulle, and a slip. Reversible, no back or front! It is white in colour.

The dress is so beautiful, the double straps and heartshaped neckline are made from velvet. Large panels of flowery lace and velvet. Lovely to wear out during warmer months or worn as a wedding dress.

Handwashed and ready to wear. Overall very good condition with some repairs to lace, around the waist/hip area. Hidden by the floral pattern.

Size XS to S. Shown on 5ft and 5ft 6 models.

Maximum measurements, the material is stretchy: bust 35 inches, waist 27 inches, Length 61 inches. Please note there are no fastenings so must be worn over the head.
